About Us
POLYTONE LASER INC. is Canadian company that seeks to obtain regulatory approval to bring to the patient’s bedside a novel non-invasive medical laser technology for the treatment of complex diseases (CD’s), including but not limited to cancer (i.e., solid tumors) and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

Other areas of potential applications include neurodegenerative diseases of the retina and brain, ocular surface disease, and peripheral artery disease.

Cancer - Solid Tumors
Cancer is not one but many diseases, generally related by uncontrolled division and growth of abnormal cells. Despite recent medical advances, cancer is still the first leading cause of death in Canada and the second leading cause of death in the U.S. According to the WHO, 10 million people are estimated to die from cancer per year worldwide..
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
AMD is a leading cause of blindness among older adults. Intense research is taking place to attempt to slow the progress from intermediate- to late-stage AMD. Late-stage AMD comprises neovascular AMD, for which the few existing treatment alternatives have serious drawbacks, and geographic atrophy, for which there is currently no treatment.
Other complex diseases
Other areas of potential applications include neurodegenerative diseases of the retina and brain, ocular surface disease and peripheral artery disease.
